Think of it - trillions of gallons of liquid waste turned into usable electricity. Move over Tesla.

Equally important, all those drugs and pharmaceuticals in everyone's pee no longer will end up in our rivers, ground water and oceans - they'll be burned - and we'll get to breathe the residues.

Chances are good the airborne pharmaceutical concentrations won't be as high as in our water - we might kill a few birds but we'll save a LOT of fishies - PLUS, all those welfare recipients who've had their benefits unfairly pulled just might be reinstated.

Essentially ammonia for power gen concept. urina is ammonia NH3

Why urine.cyanobacteria can do it very effectively and efficiently.our atmosphere is 3000 trillion tons nitrogen. We have water.

Russian govt biofuel research conclusion was:

1) ammonia using photosynthetic cyanobacterium
2) Butanol production via biomass .
3)butanol production via photosynthetic cyanobacterium via smokestacks of gas plants.

No matter how much I tell my boyfriend we could be pioneers in 'urine power' - I doubt I could convince him to knock me up once.. let alone repeatedly!

Seems like we are being bombarded from a thousand different angles with alternative (almost) free energy. I love feeling like I'm living in a generation that will make human evolutionary history.

In the East it is thought that drinking your own urine is very beneficial for the body. A lot of athletes and UFC fighters do it as well.

How little energy did they actually produce? It certainly would be great if we could power things off of urine. Cheapen up energy costs, help ease our environmental impact, give us excuses to drink copious amounts of alcohol...
