Why would you want to keep the unions from contributing to the campaigns of their choice? Don't you realize that the Republican Party is funded by the Koch brothers, big corporations and billionaires? Do you really imagine that the Republican party is not influenced by all the campaign cash they get?

In modern elections you have to pay to play. I don't like it but that's the way it is now.

NO money should ever affect an election! Money and politics were never meant to be bed-fellows. When money and politics are separated, you will see the "System" work as intended. Until then, we're all stuck in this shuyster's game.
