Hi I'm a Heathen I have been studying Asatru and practicing it to the best I can. I am looking for fellow Heathens to connect with here. Hit me up if you follow the ways of your ancestors.

I want to be a heathen!! Apart from the whole "the gods live in you" thing thats kind of creepy.
Would I have to sacrifice a he goat to be a heathen? Heathens were big on sacrifices werent they? I dont like blood.

Explanation: S&F!

Personal Disclosure: OL is not sure if I fit into that?
But it seems the basic beliefs that underpin Asatru and my own personal beliefs are highly congruent!

I use the 'trappings' of Hellenism to dress up the Gods in names etc. but a rose by any other name is but just as sweet!

Have you heard of ACHLYS? (by OmegaLogos posted on 25-4-2008 @ 09:14 AM) [ATS]

No we offer drink and food to the Gods nowadays, back then they would sacrifice animals such as Rams.

My father's been known to sacrifice a deer to the Earth Goddess.
