Just a quick question if I may:

For a long time, in the back of my mind, I've entertained the idea that powerful and influential people and groups knowingly force general outcomes based on ancient prophesy of many times and beliefs. Not necessarily self fulfilling (which perhaps becomes a "neo" movement) but rather a pantheon created to specifically reach an end or goal.

In a nutshell, I'm searching for historical examples of specific decisions by people that turn prophesies (the more specific the better) true and their connections to other people who have done the same.

I am sure that this has been explored over and over again on ats, so maybe you can point me into the right direction with a link to a thread, or a link to a site, book, ect...

Or if you all just want to throw out examples that would be neat.
I think maybe comparing time lines of prophecy and and time lines of purposeful fulfillment may be very interesting.
