Censored Artwork by children at Oakland Museum

Looks about the same as any kid's drawings. I's like to find out if all of their art/drwings look like this, or if thsi is just a select example used for political means. When I was a kid, I played with GI joes. I drew pictures that were about the same. Only difference was it was cobra vs GIJoe, instead of palestine/isreal.

I'm an artist and I recognize certain things.
The stars on the tanks and helmets are really well done...not something every child can do.
Most children are not well versed in drawing expressions on people.
They do not understand how to depict moving people.
They do not always show correct proportions.
They do not always lay down color as evenly as is done in these drawings.
They do not all draw in the exact same style.

I'm sure that the art work is representative of what the children feel.
I have seen some really good work by children, but this work looks very much like it was done by one person and a skilled one at that. It's good propaganda and I'm not saying that is a bad thing. We are never exposed to the horrors of war experienced by children. If this is what it takes, so be it, but the false representation of the authors of the work do detract from the message. I think a good movie on the subject would be better.
