A 6.5 quake has just taken place: Revilla Gigeo Islands Region

That I know, these islands are a group of 4 volcanic islands in the Pacific Ocean.

Do you think that there is going to be a volcanic eruption?

Ptolomeo

It is possible. I think one of them erupted in 1993 and another back in the 50's or 60's. That was pretty impressive magnitude for the islands, glad they are not populated. Time will tell that is for sure. Are the islands not volcanoes themselves? I would hate to see any type of Tsunami generated on the West Coast...now I am really thinking this through.

The other side of the coin is there is still plenty "good" out there and to wish another human harm is sad.

One person praying can make a difference as there is always hope.

Please tell me you are not a christian! We have been taking so much heat for being intolerant and judgemental- and this would not be helping our cause.

In response, how would you judge your child's wrongdoings? By correcting and teaching? Or by killing him?

I see.

So you think God should judge the US by killing millions of innocent civilians while the few select individuals responsible for political corruption are safe in their bunkers?

Give me a break.

OK I am now suspecting you are a troll trying to turn this thread into another reason to bash believers for bringing God into every subject. So I will leave you to your beliefs and not contribute to the derailing.

Good day.

anyone who says its "god's will" needs to stay the F off the internet. Shallow quake indeed. Things will certainly be heating up going into 2012. Hope for the best.

i know i'm gonna get flamed for this ... but....

this quake is due west of Guadalajara, where, coincidentally, there have been major sightings of "ufo fleets" [insert "chinese lanterns/balloons" according to belief in here]

does that occur to anybody else?

We're also in the middle of an M-Class flare and a geomagnetic storm atm.
solarimg.org...

That's closer to Mexico than you usually see. I'd say to keep a look at things in the next 48 hours for sure.

Yes, and it seems that the active region will rotate towards Earth...

I wonder what´s going to be next. I am closely monitoring the events at El Hierro. There is a chance of an eruption there as well (and I do not mean the submarine eruption that is already taking place, but another one).

Regards,
Ptolomeo

P.S.: By the way, I just wanted to thank everybody for the "flags", Thank you.

Would you be as trivial if your entire family were included among the casualties?

Yes because hundreds of thousands live in Yellowstone.

Maybe animals and a few forest rangers...and like 2 or 3 tourists.

I see no reason for flaming that. I would accept the possibility that UFOs influencing natural phenomena is plausible. I would also accept the possibility of earthly Elite doing the same.

Or perhaps they could be recording it, or recording our reaction to it... Or harvesting energy from it... or all of the above. Its all possible.
