Possible to make recent posts page auto-update>?

Is there an option where I could have ATS automatically
update the recent posts page without refreshing,
like the New topics page does?

They tried that already, shortly after the site got redesigned.

It didn't work out well :shk:
We would try to click on a link, and they come in so fast we were chasing our links around, and couldn't catch them

Every couple of seconds, there would be a page refresh, and the link you were after would move down the page, just as you were trying to click, and you'd come into a thread you didn't expect.

It was entertaining, and frustrating for some.
