Cuban President Fidel Castro has sent a message of solidarity to his beleaguered Iraqi counterpart, Saddam Hussein.

The message, which was sent on Saturday, expressed solidarity for Iraq in the current climate of external pressure and threats, according to the Iraqi news agency, INA.

President Fidel Castro expresses the solidarity of Cuba in relation to the external threats and its total support for the end of the embargo imposed on Iraq by the Security Council of the UNO since 1990.

The message was delivered to the Iraqi President by a member of the Cuban National Assembly who is currently on a visit to Baghdad.

President George Bush has recently promised to use all means at his disposal to remove Saddam Hussein from power, because of his alleged involvement in the fabrication of weapons of mass destruction.

and let us not forget the Cuba/Iran relationship.

"Iran and Cuba, in cooperation with each other, can bring America to its knees. The US regime is very weak, and we are witnessing this weakness from close up," Castro affirmed.

Castro must have the intelligence of a flea, once again alienating the US just when diplomatic relations were looking up.
He has definately gone crazy over the last 40 years.

Maybe from a bit *too* close up...If you look at the state of Florida on a map, we've been pissing on Cuba for a looong time...

a third world country who housed a terrorist in the 1970's and made him work at the shovel,

or a Megalomaniac superpower who has enough WMD's to end life on earth several times?
