To all the doom merchants,

We do not know when the world will end, so stop bringing people down.

Start spreading light in the world, and peace.

We need a lot more light in this world, and people are stopping it.

How *exactly* do you "spread" light?
Do we need flashlights for that, or ...?

Because I keep hearing these "spread light, positive vibrations, yada yada ..." - but no one seems to be able to actually explain what do they mean by that, thus rendering the whole message to nought.

I prefer the dark.. I have terrible photosensativity Oo

my method is to see the glass half full not empty, like imagining goals and looking forward reaching them. a method of motivation.

There's a difference between being honest, and being a doom merchant.

Hopeless Optimism isn't the solution to the worlds problems. Holding hands doesn't stop bombs.

Seeing that the world HAS PROBLEMS, allows one to ponder the possible solutions, and then maybe act upon them.

I see millions of people starving when there's plenty of food.

I see War having killing millions more, plus all the torture.

yeah, thats true if you count the numbers. of course there are millions in pain, but if you see it a percentage way, you are wrong. for example, 100 years ago 10% of world population were underfed, today its 5% and in 100 years there will be zero. you seem to focus too much on the bad stuff and dont recognize the permanent improvement.

Ummm considering how many people are living in abject poverty all over, which is at what 26 percent in the USA, for one example, your numbers are a tad off reality. Ever looked up GMO?

You must be fairly comfortable and away from "poor" people to feel this way. I'm sure only 10 percent of Africans are having it rough! Or Libyans now, or Iraqis, or Russians, or Chinese.
