Why is FOX News Channel running ads like crazy for a new CNN show?

Erin Burnett, moving from one ultra-liberal network (NBC) to another (CNN). The show is called Erin Burnett Outfront. Is FOX trying to extend an olive branch to their liberal counterparts because of their "fair and balanced-ness"? Unexpected to say the least.

outfront.blogs.cnn.com...

[ETA] Maybe she's moving networks because of Chris Matthews continued creepiness or she's sick of working with that whackjob who's probably lost more money for people than any other financial analyst....Jim Cramer

Peace

Paid advertising is paid advertising. It's not very likely that any Fox viewer will go watch her show so Fox or the firm that sells the air time just takes the money, airs the ad and smiles.

Well since CNN is owned by Time Warner...
And
FOX is owned by Rupert Murdoch...

My guess is that these companies share interests...although they display animosity.
Distracting the people and filling the void.
Perfect way for hiding what's really happening.

Typical divide and conquer technique if you ask me.
Just my opinion, is all.

I wonder if CNN would ever run a promo' commercial for a new FOX show, or any FOX show for that matter?

I would be much more interested in a CNN show called "Dunk Al Sharpton", you know like one of those dunk tanks you see at the carnivals. You could have a whole bunch of conservatives line up (a line long enough to circle the Earth) to throw a ball at a target, and if they hit it Al Sharpton falls in the water. Only one difference though, the target thingamajig they'd be throwing the ball at would be the size of the Smithsonian so nobody could miss it.

I don't watch CNN that much, and that's really surprising to me. Interesting, even though O'Reilly is a closet liberal.

Peace
