Yes you heard right... for all of Obama's propaganda it's his own party that's holding up the bill because Dems up for re-election don't want to be forced to vote on it. That way their constituents can't hold them accountable.

firstread.msnbc.msn.com...

*** UPDATE *** According to Senate Democrats, Republicans will not get their vote on the president's jobs bill as Reid had earlier indicated.

Reid had said on the floor that he was giving McConnell the option to hold the vote as an amendment to the China currency bill, but Democrats say that will not happen now.

McConnell could still do a procedural vote to try to call up the president's jobs bill - but that's not expected to pass.

You're not supposed to share this kind of information (the truth) around here.
The Daily Talking Points Memos suggest that we are supposed to Blame Eric Cantor and the rest of the Republicans. Heck, Obama never even thanked Mitch McConnell for trying to call the vote that was blocked by Reid. Reid doesn't have the votes. They have not been bought yet.

So, Obama is now a lame-duck president.

His own party is convinced that he cannot be re-elected, so they are looking out for their own backsides by avoiding a controversial vote instead of supporting their president.

Great news for the rest of us. The bill was a loser anyway. Great to know the Dems have abandoned their own Prez too! The rats are jumping ship.

It's all smoke and mirrors. The Democrats in the Congress will not vote for this bill or even let it hit the floors of the Senate or House, especially the ones up for reelection next year. They are starting to realize their agenda of socialist change is a failure.
