Earthquake rocks Argentina

An earthquake with a preliminary magnitude of 6.2 struck near JuJay, Argentina, according to the U.S. Geological Survey. JuJay is in the northwest of the country.

lets hope all is well, its not a too dense area
but plenty of mountains so land slides are possible

It was the depth that also caught my attention....quite shallow.

Jujuy is not a very densely populated region.

From the first informations, nobody was hurt.

Yesterday we have very strong and frequent swarm ..

Think we entering in stronger Geo-activity in next 20 days, this is first M 6+ after 15 days ..

Its getting worse, i mean the moods..My husband came home nasty as all get out,my daughter is being nast and very upset and im not in the best of moods now either....

Are you actually implying that an Earthquake in Argentina caused your husband and daughter to be in foul moods? There are tons of earthquakes DAILY. Are they just constantly pissed off?

You posted a link to a website and gave absolutely ZERO input as to why you were posting this or HOW it was signifigant in ANY way.

Could you tell me your take on this Earthquake and why it is any more signifigant than any of the other
dozens of EQs that happened today?

I DO feel that things are heating up on a global scale with natural disasters.
I do feel that they are getting more and more frequent as we draw nearer to 2012.
I just don't understand why this one is any different.

So your line of reasoning is that yes, there are more earthquakes, and yes this is a sign that something unusual is going on, but earthquake news should be ignored because somehow the very quantity of earthquakes makes every single one of them by itself insignificant? If that's not the snake eating its own tail, I don't know what is!

My guess is it's significant because it is above a 6.0 and it's very shallow.

I would like to ask you a question, what makes you think this eq isn't significant in relation to the volcano that blew today.........hum.....................or is there no correlation between volcanoes and EQs? my bet there is and oh yea.....we just had some CME's go off recently too.........maybe that doesn't matter either. just sayin........
