I have sent The Library Of Congress the following in an email :

-----------------------------------------------------------------
Question/Comment: To whom it may concern,

I have a proposal for The LOC and that is to accept submissions of all videos
and pictures pertaining to the Occupy Wall Street and associated protests so
that the record can be recorded accurately and correctly and to preserve all
media so that the future generations can be informed of what occured!

Darrin Dudding, I
-------------------------------------------------------------------

I will post the reply here once it comes back! Hopefully they will accept it!

Yes, but a national record still needs to be recorded and in case they take the web out to quell the dissent a backdoor is being made avail.

A tip:
You should probably remove your name from the OP.
If you don't, then most likely, a Mod will eventually come along and remove it anyways. Not supposed to post any type of personal info on here.

Up to you... of course.

So why do you have to request permission to upload the videos?

I'm inquiring as to wether or not they'll accept the submissions but since it is The LOC I'm not expecting any resistance. Seeking permission is merely an item of formality.
