The natives taught the pilgrims to plant their seeds with dead fish. The fish will provide nutrients for the plant.

Its Harvest time, buy those pumpkin,squash etc
while they are cheap eat the plant save the seeds plant them next year.
Cheaper then buying packs of the same seeds, since you get a meal
and possibly a crop or two.

I'm actually probably not going to start for a few years until I'm done with college, hopefully thats not too late! But yea, i have no idea fall or spring

Thanks for all the tips so far, I'm definitely much more excited about growing food now that I have some tips from people who know what theyre talking about. Keep the advice coming
