We need to take into consideration also, that many of the newer neighborhoods that have come into existence in the past fifteen years or so have
houses placed very close together where the windows' reflections can easily impact the neighbor's house. My friends live in a beautiful new home
with walls of windows yet can not have their side window curtains open because the views just lead almost directly into the windows of their next door
neighbors. Some of the people in that development have only the front of the house clear and even the back windows look directly and closely into a
neighbor's back windows. I live in a thirty year old development and the houses are relatively wide spaced and not prone to this sort of thing.
Andersen builder grade windows were used in a lot of new construction I've seen. I have not yet heard of melting siding, though. This is the first
I've heard of such a thing. Thanks for an interesting news story.
