Its unplanned maintenance....i think there was some planned for earlier today....i think they may have buggered it up when they did whatever they did on the update earlier today.

I dont think its been hacked...got the wrong code for starters.

Playstation said the engineers are working to fix it..this was 2 hours ago.

I dont think its anything nefarious, just some buggered up code or servers.

I was looking forward to a bit of Battlefield Bad Company 2 later......hopefully they sort it out before i want to go on lol.

Best not be weeks and weeks of outages, i think id sell my ps3 if that were to happen again.

I woke up all happy to play Red Dead this morning and all I got was a "signing in" logo. I then fired up the PC and started playing Half Life.

When will you ever work PSN. When will you ever work. I wanna watch my netflix dammit!

What's the new patch for? I just patched up the other day as well as agreeing to not sue them when they mess up again..I mean their terms and conditions..

I'm not sure I haven't been on since the weekend, I agreed to the whole non suing thing also. The new patch is 3.72. You will be prompted to download it if you haven't already.
