A new view for Americans on an old subject

Let's hit the WHAT IF realm for a minute fellow citizens of the United States.

WHAT IF the Mexican drug cartels infiltrated the state government of Texas and began making changes at the state level?

WHAT IF the Mexican drug cartels began demanding the state of Texas be returned to Mexicans (Not the government of Mexico)?

WHAT IF the Mexican drug cartels then started attacking (insert preferred guerrilla tactic here) the states surrounding Texas?

WHAT IF the Mexican drug cartels pushed for a UN vote to be given the state of Texas or even be recognized as an official goverment?

What would the United States do?


Now I want you to replace a few words above. USA = Israel, Texas = West bank/Palestine, Mexican drug cartel = HAMAS, Mexico = Whichever country you believe is backing HAMAS (Syria, Iran, etc.)

Puts things in a different light no? A 12 year-old spat this analogy at me as I tried to explain what the news was talking about this morning.
