That message appears when somebody attempts to star a post more than once.
Not sure why it would appear during page refreshes?

You are likely refreshing a thread after you starred a post.
Does the URL address end with addstar=1&on=XXXXXXXX#pidXXXXXXXX ?
The error comes for the inability to star more than once.
