I have been filming the messages for a while and have finally made a video out of it.

Most info people should need is in the video and video description.

Help spread the word, this shouldn’t be allowed.

I actually did not get what subliminal message you are trying to say here. You should at least tell us what we are supposed to look for in the video. Better is to encircle the area where we are supposed to look in the video.

edit: I rechecked the video. You described different ads being inserted at the end of an ad. The problem is we are not familiar with Aussie ads and hence we do not know if the ad we are seeing is still part of the ad or a different one being inserted.

Seems like a case of bad editing, cause I don't get what the flashes are supposed to mean? dude driving was the first one?

what are they trying to get me to do, take a leisurely drive?

during the slowed down clips you can see that between each advert a super quick video from an ad seperate to the 2 is shown

please watch the full video
as you will get a better idea.

I don't know if you are onto something or not but wasn't there subliminals in a Australian music awards show a year or two ago? I vaguely remember KFC and McDonalds ads thrown in there, something like that.

Why Oz and not here? Or are they too slick here to get noticed? I haven't seen anything like this from America but that doesn't mean it isn't happening.

well i dunno but i figure theres a legal loophole or something because to me its so obvious but other people just cant see it..its very weird
yeah it was during the arias and they got fined a lot of money..like hundreds of thousands i think.

thats why im suprised people arent interested in this
it might not be what people think of when someone says subliminal messages

but scenes from other ads would be perfect because it can make you think about that other brand or feel conected to the brand when you see the ad for real

Hi There,

I dont want to be rude or anything friend, but this has been going on for years. Simply put its poor editing on the TV stations behalf, since they have launched all the digital services (at government pressure so they can release the analogue band licenses to other carriers), there has been additional stations (7Two, Gem, Go etc and so forth), however the TV stations have not put on additional staff (in the numbers required). This means multiple problems are occurring.

The main problem you are witnessing is for repeats of shows (the full 60 minute production including ads), what they do is cut the live feed to an "ad robot" (Term used loosely), which overlays the new ads. This saves them money by not having to employ further editing staff to edit out the old ads, and replace them with a black pause (which you see in the "newer" shows).

This show you have recorded (bone collector) is a repeat, what you are actually seeing (in the first video) is the former intro to what is called "Brand power" (i cant recall the name right now).

The second one i didnt quite get, however it just looks like an old ad.

Definitely no conspiracy here, just bad video editing, and short staffing

even if its an accident its still illegal
and im fairly sure that if it wasnt on purpose they would have fixed it by now

i have seen this in live coverage and new programs also

Illegal possibly, i dont keep in touch with advertising law, its mostly out of scope of my general life
, but i'll see what i can do about trying to catch up.

It happens, from what i understand its less and less on foxtel/sky or whatever its called in the northern states/optus pay TV. However free to air, well for them its all about doing EVERYTHING on the cheap (their margins are less, since they do no have a base subscriber base to cough up cash each month).

This scenario happens on Radio also, with the Aus sterio (i think) where they accidentally put on a series of ads for Clive Peters, which where in play last year, due to them repeating shows. It happens, you will notice it on and off, but more prevelant in the older shows.

To explain the newer shows, its probably more a human error during the TV adaption (fade in and out of various adverts), or/and their control staff screwing up the order (so GO has ads for Harvey Norman, while GEM may have ads for Fatantastic Furniture, and they accidentally swap them - Note - this is a hyperthetical scenario).

I'm no AV specialist, nor do i work in the Entertainment industry. But i definately recognise the first split second intro
