If I were to put a band together I would go with
Freddie Mercury- vocals, piano
Stevie Ray Vaughn- Guitar
Gene Simmons, don't let him sing but can play a bass.
Bill Ward- drums
Tony Iommi- guitar
Crissy Hynde- back up vocals

So do I, however it's fun to go back and listen to em when it's been awhile, makes for good house cleaning music...

I cant believe that Ronnie James Dio is not on any list here.
The guys vocals surpass any that are on the list alive or dead.
I could go on and on about him but will just say that his voice and lyrics are amazing and will,if not already, put him into a catagory all by himself at the top of all.
There are alot of great artists with great skills,but most either fade away or become crap after so many years.
There are many others I like but I just wanted to add in DIO
