Why are they reporting on it? Because there's a bunch of pissed off people with guns. That's why. Not all of these these militias would do anything, but I'd bet there's quite a few that would. Add to that there's still hardcore racists in this country who hate that a black man is president...

'They' aren't planning anything. But they are. There's a lot of people who hate America, you can prove this by just looking around these forums. TPTB don't need to plan anything. 'They' would probably respond with a crackdown if something does happen, but that's another story entirely. But the crackdown wouldn't involve "taking your guns."
Too many people have guns for that event to be even remotely possible.

Nice try:"alot of people hate America"(?) Yeah and they all answer to the activist in the oval office.
Have you been paying attention to batf operation "gunwalker" and gangwalker"?Holder/obama have been implicated:

Holder’s qualified ‘Gunwalker’ denial withers under examination

“Attorney General Eric Holder on Wednesday sought to distance himself and other senior Justice Department officials from a botched operation to track guns smuggled to Mexican drug cartels, saying they were not involved,” Reuters reports.

Note the perpetuation of the “botched” meme by the “Authorized Journalists,” who inserted that characterization into a supposedly “straight news” story on their own.

"The notion that somehow or other that this thing reaches into the upper levels of the Justice Department is something that, at this point, I don't think is supported by the facts," Holder told reporters.

“At this point…”?

“I don’t think…”?

Could that brief compilation of weasel words have been crafted any more carefully for escape clauses? And the “reporters” on the ground and in his face didn’t think to challenge it?

Holder questioned whether the congressional probe, led by Republicans in the House of Representatives and Senate, was politically motivated...

Does anyone even know if murdered Border Patrol agent Brian Kel…uh…Terry was a Republican or Democrat? How about slain ICE agent Jaime Zapata? Does it matter what political sympathies the estimated scores of dead Mexicans may have had, if any?

And since when is ensuring law enforcement compliance with the law a partisan issue? Weren’t walked guns found at crime scenes in Phoenix misused to endanger all citizens? Not to mention the untold numbers still out there?

Let’s explore what it means for Holder and “upper levels of the Justice Department” not to have known about what he dismisses as “this thing,” although we’ll have to suspend what’s been documented to date about Assistant Attorney General (and direct report to Holder) Lanny Breuer, and National Security Council Director of North American Affairs Kevin O'Reilly (as well as the President’s role as a statutory attendee of NSC meetings).

Holder is asking us to believe he was oblivious to U.S. Attorney-authorized operations in Arizona. And Houston. And Tampa. And Indiana. These all just sprang up as uncoordinated local ideas, with regional management taking responsibility on their own authority.

If so, is that not evidence enough of utter incompetence, mismanagement and negligence to warrant his impeachment and potential civil and criminal prosecution? That is, if you don’t think the intent of his parsed non-denial denial was to make us believe a lie.

As for Holder’s implausible “hope…that Congress will conduct an investigation that is factually based and not marred with politics,” perhaps if he knocked off the stonewalling, they’d be able to. Perhaps if the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform, when it was under Democrat control, and DOJ’s Office of Inspector General had not shown deliberate indifference to early accusations by whistleblowers of corruption, abuse and retaliation, the current investigation would not even be happening because such a monumentally evil operation as “Project Gunwalker” could not have taken place in an environment of scrutiny. And victims of the botched op…uh… plot would still be alive.

Here’s what is needed to achieve Holder’s stated-for-the-cameras goal of a “factually based investigation”:

The damned mainstream press needs to get off their subversive hindquarters and start reporting honestly and completely on this story, instead of using it as an excuse to smear investigators and stump for more citizen disarmament. And of course the AG can count on his reliable Fourth Estate Fifth Columnist allies not to let him down. So scratch this one and let's focus on the rest.

After all that this government has done to our beautiful country- I wouldn't expect you to be surprised. Especially you, after reading your most excellent thread on the Waco massacre. Well done, man.
I'm starting to think that the only ones who are brainwashed by their propaganda anymore are the ones who are too far gone to help. I know it's total BS, so do you and many, many others. TPTB are doing this simply because it's all they know how to do. Spread fear and lies, that is their game. It seems to me that they are getting desperate, they see their control slipping away so they begin clutching at straws.
Negative reinforcement never works in the long run, people just get fed up. Remain vigilant and keep your eyes and ears open. Most of all tho, don't let it get to you. That's what they want. True patriots know the score and will never live on their knees.
Good post, OP. Peace.

Thanks for your reply and compliment on my WACO thread.
www.abovetopsecret.com...

I started this thread because I was so infuriated at how the government and MSM are portraying Patriots like myself. Believe me my friend, nothing they do surprises me at all. I really think we have not seen anything yet. The worse is still yet to come.

You said "It seems to me that they are getting desperate, they see their control slipping away so they begin clutching at straws."

When they get desperate like they are getting, that is what worries me. It makes me wonder what they have planned in order to keep their control. They will do whatever they have to do and they dont care how many people they kill in order to achieve their agenda.

We will see what their plan is when they show their hand. Until then, like you said, all we can do is remain vigilant and keep our eyes and ears open. And like all Patriots, I will never live on my knees. I'm too old to start living like that.

In all truth it would probably be scary if we really know how many citizens were on some type of list or another that our government has compiled.

I agree with your entire post, but you really hit the nail on the head with this quote. I have believed for a while now that I am probably on one of their "lists", from different things I have posted on different sites, but it doesn't worry me. I have done research into all the Fusion Centers around the country that spy and collect intel on us Citizens and the last time I checked, it was rumored to be a list consisting of almost 500,000 names. A half a million people! Im sure it is more by now.

And they will put that list to use in the name of safety someday. Thats what my thoughts are anyway. I could be wrong, but I dont think I am. Believe me when I say, I hope I AM wrong about this...

I hope so too, but I have a feeling you're not. As for me I know I am on a list somewhere stemming from an incident I had with a local Tyranny Enforcement Officer where I live. To make a long story short, my son who was 12 at the time was riding his skateboard in front of my mother's flower shop (on private property) and the officer was screaming at my son and grabbed him by the nap of his neck and his upper arm (leaving bruises) and was trying to arrest him. I heard the commotion and walked out of my mother's store and asked the cop what the h*ll he was doing. We got into a heated arguement and when he told me to mind my own business I told him if he didn't get his hands off my son he wouldn't get them back.

I was arrested for threatening a LEO and my son was let go. I had no criminal record other than a DUI 12 years earlier, am a recepient of the Navy Distinguished Service Medal, and received an Honorable Discharge with Commendations from the Navy Experimental Diving Unit. Once it went to court the charges were dropped and the officer fired. However now when they run my info in a traffic stop they get a flag of "violent tendencies" because TPTB say that regardless of charges being dropped, anytime you threaten a LEO you show that you have no respect for them and are willing to defy authority.

I would agree with you that you are on their list. More than likely you are on their national list all the way up to DHS, just like hundreds of thousands of other Americans. In your case, when you were found not guilty, and considering the circumstances, you should have never been on a list.

But then again, people are put on their list just for believing in the Constitution. It is sad times for this country. It wont stop until enough people get mad about it.

Lord have mercy! Thanks for that automatic weapon shoot video.....It cheered the hell outta me.......
Waaay up here in the great white north we are having our own troubles with totalitarian tendencies in the gov.
Canada, who has never suffered a terrorist attack yet, is looking to extend the similar act we passed to the patriot act.(i think permanently)
The gov really has no idea what we are capable of yet....But if they do not wake up soon they will see the streets run red.
Frances first revolution will look like a tea party when the people get educated to the false flags and phoney news which gets concocted to make us react in ways they want us to.......
Maybe we are undeserving of our freedom, maybe not, but if we lay down and roll over for these slime any more
it will become obvious whether we deserve to be free or not.
Its a matter of internal fortitude .......... Its about time that fortitude was tested again.

I think the simplest explanation is the truth to your question. The MSM is covering Big Sis talking about militia based terror because, in their eyes, the militias are the terrorists. The great muslim threat is more of a concoction ginned up by the TPTB to keep the uninformed in fear and willing to lay down their liberties. I'm not in a militia but I believe that freedom given up for an illusion of security is no freedom indeed. I do carry a firearm almost everywhere I go because I believe the God given right to protect myself, family and property should never be infringed upon. This makes me a great threat to TPTB.

This is just a hunch and no more.

I have a feeling the US security services want to make public a successful anti-terror operation. They want to make all of you Americans feel like they aren't useless and get some good publicity. Remember even the MSM have come to the conclusion that the response to 9/11 was woefully inadequate. If they can't have a real success maybe they will make it look like they have saved thousands of lives and regain the confidence of the people.

OK, it's just a hunch but I've been right before.

Also by way of solidarity - I sincerely wish all of our American brothers and sisters a safe 9/11/11 and just as safe 11/11/11. Be safe guys.

Much love

They're setting up our perceptions.

Currently, and for a long while, any time a bomb goes off in the world we automatically assume Muslim terrorists. And for damn good reason too.

Now if they could just get our first thought to be, "I wonder if Uncle Billy..."

Thanks for the experience, I see that not matter what we do we get tag in this nation regardless when we disobey the status quo, then you have people that still think America uphold freedoms, but then again that's only until you try to exercise them as by our constitutional rights.

So be careful because that littler reg flag in you record can bring any trigger happy police to shot and ask question letter or either tasser you to death.

Do you really believe the people will ever wake up? I dont know about Canada, but if the people are not awake here in the states yet, after all that has and is going on, I really think it is hopeless that they will ever wake up.

And good luck on keeping anything like our Patriot Act out of Canada. Fight it with all you have and then some. Nothing good will come out of such a law. The USSA or AmeriKa is a fine example of that..

It sounds like you believe that they will set up a fake terrorism attack, or dare I say it, False Flag, ( I got some rude comments once for using those two words), and you could very well be correct. They know that most of the people hate them because of the stripping away of our Freedoms and Liberties they so freely disperse of, so yes, they need desperately for the People to like them, to feel like they are needed.

I just hope that they dont use the Militia for their messed up mind-games. We will see soon what they have planned.....

Most of these militia types are patriotic loyal Americans who wish to defend their homes and local communities in the event of natural disaster, or internal disturbance. They are like minded civic organizations who take an oath to defend the United States of America and the United States Constitution. So what if they don't take their orders from the Pentagon or from some politician? We should be encouraging militias rather then branding them as Neo Nazi redneck anti-government nutcases.

In fact, many of the local groups like the "New York State Field Force" or the "New York State Defense Force" (not to be confused with the New York State Guard/New York Naval Militia - actual militias organized by the New York State government but independent of the New York National Guard) specifically bar entrance to anyone who holds racist, anti-Semitic, Neo Nazi, or anti-government beliefs.

It should also be mentioned that 22 states (including New York as mentioned above) plus the territory of Puerto Rico have a state defense force completely independent of the National Guard, and funded by the state government. Unfortunately most are little more than social clubs nowadays with very limited roles, I don't even think many of them undergo any sort of military training

Exactly Chris. They take the same oath as our men and women in the Military, to defend this country from all enemies, foreign and domestic. It really peaves me off when the MSM, DHS, FBI, and those in DC use their broad brush to paint them in the same light as the proverbial terrorists that took down the Trade Centers.

I am associated with a couple of different Militia Groups, one in my state and one that is nationwide. There has been talk going on in the last week to whether we should start referring to the Militia as a "Civil Defense Force" instead of Militia because of how the above mentioned people have drug the name through the mud.

When TSHTF, people will be glad when the Militia steps in to save the country. Then they will be heroes. Until then, TPTB will keep on labeling them as terrorists because the government fears them. They fear them because they know that the Militia wants to bring back the Republic as the Constitution describes it being. And if that happened, they would have to hand control back over to the people...

I agree with you that the Militias have a lot of support in todays time than in the past. There is a thread on here about 14,000 rounds of ammunition being missing from Ft Bragg I believe.
www.abovetopsecret.com...

My first thoughts were, that the ammunition might be used to do false flag terrorist attacks to be blamed on the Militias, or they will just blame the theft on the Militia.

It will be interesting to see how rest of the weekend plays out. I really hope that nothing happens and we will see yet again how much TPTB like to Fearmonger its Citizens...

do you think the government might be planning something to blame on the Militias? Maybe to start their crackdown on guns?

Apparently not, are any Obama haters going to admit they're wrong?
