Rights chief: Countless crimes in counterterrorism

news.yahoo.com

Europe's human rights chief launched a blistering attack Thursday on European governments' counterterrorism actions, accusing them of helping the United States commit "countless" crimes in the past 10 years.

The 10-year anniversary of the Sept. 11 attacks is an occasion to analyze whether the official responses have been proper and effective

At least the right's chief is speaking up, a decade later
but still better than nothing I guess

We live in a very evil world, the problem is people say
"it's government, what do you expect? Fairness?"

That's such a horrible response, people are being desensitzed more and more thus allowing elites to do whatever in the world they want to.

Something must be done!

I’m conflicted concerning this issue. If we snag a guy who is a terrorist, to be truthful, I don’t care what happens to him. The sooner he’s buried the better.

But snagging a guy who is innocent is another matter. And killing innocents to get to the bad guys is just as bad.

As far as I am concerned, if a innocent is protecting a bad guy, they are guilty by association and no longer innocent.

That said, I think these two quotes have relevance here.

“All that is necessary for evil to triumph is for good men to do nothing.”

“People sleep peaceably in their beds at night only because rough men stand ready to do violence on their behalf.”

Sometimes, you have to become, what you are fighting against...but at least we don't videotape it and put it out on YouTube.

So many people are just fighting for water and food - which often means they're fighting against corporate colonization.

The real terrorism is economic - and the corporate merc industry, now a major player in wargames and war crimes.
