Kiwis and Aussies have almost the same sense of humour.

People from the north do not.

That is really why we are basically bound together in a love/rival relationship - and our men went out there and fought and died in those unspeakable wars.

And we are adventurers.

Awesome thread. Course us Kiwis love the Aussies because of their hardy spirit and welcoming, hospitable nature. Well that's what I experienced when living over in Aussie for a year. I did try to teach them how to pronounce 'seeex' (six) and 'feesh and cheeps' and 'Seeydney' properly but it was a bit of a lost cause. They'd get me to repeat 'fush and chups'. Gotta love those Aussies.

All jokes aside, Kiwi's and Aussies are like brothers to each other. I love my Kiwi mates, I love their culture and their beautiful country. We support each other through thick and thin, in peace and in war.

What of us Aussies who now live in New Zealand (oh, them Kiwi women, comin' across the ditch & stealing our virile young men away)?
