I did a search but couldn't find anything so......

A suspected meteor streaked across the sky over the city of Cusco in Peru.

Local officials were trying to determine where the object may have landed

Not a lot of info on this but a cool video anyway.
Hopefully more information will come out soon and maybe even a crater will be found.

I would like to see more video too, it seems odd it was cut off there but that could just be the news editing. I'm fairly sure I would film it until the end.

I'm pretty sure that is a contrail being illuminated by the sun.

That was my first thought too, to be honest.

Definitely a illuminated contrail in my opinion. Even though i just saw this on BBC News

As that camera zooms out to show more of the sky it would appear if it was a Meteor that its velocity was almost non existent and therefore i believe a contrail. Also as the tail beings to fall apart its clearly distinguishable compared to other aircraft contrails.

I just saw battle of LA last night
Crap film but interesting non the less

That's what I saw it on too.

If that link works the Norwegian paper says it's a contrail.

confirmed as Meteorite

Just because a thread title includes the word "confirmed," does not mean that something has actually been confirmed. In fact, the person who took the video now seems to be changing his story to tie it in with some local wildfires. This is the California "mystery missile" all over again!

This was posted earlier sorry to say.

Don't know why so many in the media can't tell these are contrails?

Defiantly a planes contrail being lit up by the sun. Even Sky news has fallen for this obvious plane muddle.
