If anyone still tries to tell me that Obama and his crew (along with anyone going along with this) are not total pieces of filth after reading that...

NY Attorney General Booted from Mortgage Company Settlement Task Force

New York Attorney General Eric Schneiderman has been kicked off a 50-state task force negotiating a possible settlement with the nation’s largest mortgage companies. The move came just one day after the New York Times reported that the Obama administration was pressuring Schneiderman to agree to a broad state settlement with banks over questionable foreclosure tactics.

Basically the White House pulling strings so he gets kicked out.

The federal settlement has been widely criticized because it would insulate the nation’s largest banks, including Bank of America, Citigroup, JPMorgan Chase and Wells Fargo, from all criminal investigations in exchange for civil fines.

Yep. Instead of GOING TO FREAKING JAIL FOR ALL THE FELONIES THEY HAVE COMMITTED, the feds are pushing for a FINE... and not only the feds... BUT THE ATTORNEY GENERALS OF 49 STATES... the bankers have bought them all.

Of course, that ``fine`` money is coming from the FED or directly from the taxpayers, thanks to the bailouts.

In America, YOU CAN BUY JUSTICE... if you got enough money...

Update : The Attorney General is not quitting!
Back Off Banksters! NY AG Eric Schneiderman Fights Back After Being Kicked Off 50 State Robo-signing Investigation

Please everyone, we must support this man. He is our last hope on a national level.

Indeed he is.

I think that has been changed. You can get justice in the US courts if you steal enough money. Wall Streets has been reported to have been destroying docs to stay out of criminal charges. When are these loser scumbag criminals going to gitmo.

Tell that to Bernard Madoff.

Not saying it doesn't happen however but these guys do get caught sometimes.

Okay, so that means we can all go rob banks, and as long as it's done on computers or in some other "business" way, we'll just be fined for it as well?

Oh yeah... We little people actually have to pay for it if we commit a crime, huh?

I guess it's good that I use Chase then....if they are going to be insulated and all.

outstanding. friends take care of friends. no one is responsible, no one is accountable. there was a similar thread earlier, where Uncle Sam was putting it to Google for a big $ fine.

Lennon said it, Zappa said: Follow the money
