Future Flyers: Pushing Forward for Personal Aircraft (from ATSNN)

NASA and some private aviation engineers are going to work to develop the next step in personal transportation, while this is the next step i think we are far from actually flying to go to the local shop.



Could personal aircrafts take over our use of cars? This sound's so like cartoon The Jetson's use of small personal aircrafts for our own transportation.

Well, I would think with the difference in fuel cost and things of the sort, that without a sufficient vertical take-off/landing aparatus and a good, economical alternative fuel source, it will never be a reality. Not to mention the inherent problems with traffic control (hundreds of little flyers all over the suburban sky, just imagine!).

Perhaps if we sneak into the Groom Lake arean and steal plans for the gravitic drive? Just a thought.

Or maybe Bob Lazar and the like could actually quite playing publicity whore and actually develop something based on what they 'claim' they know about the technology.
