If the Illuminati is a SECRET society, why do they show a lot of their symbolism in the media?

It’s NEVER in your face or obvious, that’s why no one really notices it. But if you pay attention, it’s everywhere.

They make it subtle as a hint to those paying attention, if they made it extremely obvious most people wouldn’t believe it, because think of what the implications are? think of what we’re saying? we sound like we’re nuts, because the implications of what we’re saying are HUGE. So they make it subtle as a hint to those in the know, the ignorant population could never accept it so that’s why they’re SO quick to laugh it off. Once most people wake up and realize, they’re shocked and they start screaming at everyone to wake up.. and therefore they look like wackos to the average joe so everyone ignores them.

THAT’s why games, movies and media make it SUBTLE! That’s the ONLY way to get the message out, anyone who tries too hard will only be seen as a nut, never to be taken seriously or ignored.

I didn’t believe it at first, but after all the research, it’s overwhelming.

"Secret" in this sense is a misnomer.

A misnomer is a term that suggests an interpretation known to be untrue. Such incorrect terms sometimes derive their names because of the form, action, or origin of the subject becoming named popularly or widely referenced—long before their true natures were known.

It is also a half-truth, as there are elements of truth within it although many misconceptions are brought up due to the inappropriate terminology.

A half-truth is a deceptive statement that includes some element of truth. The statement might be partly true, the statement may be totally true but only part of the whole truth, or it may utilize some deceptive element, such as improper punctuation, or double meaning, especially if the intent is to deceive, evade, blame or misrepresent the truth.

Our entire language and use of language is full of misconceptions and wrongly applied terminology.
This affects all of us globally, some more than others.

I would venture to guess it is a key element to our widespread 'ignorance' and allows those with 'proper educations' to see past a large portion of the complete nonsense and deception permeating society.

If only we knew how Predictably Irrational we really were, perhaps we might actually stop allowing ourselves to be fooled so often.

The best way to hide something is in plain sight.. I.e the best place to hide a book would be a library..

If this whole illuminati conspiracy is to be believed.. Just shows the arrogance of these people with their blatent symbols everywhere..

"Secret society" is an incorrect interpretation.

"Illuminati" is a name we have given to a mysterious subset of the human race who seem to be totally obsessed about running the show - for reasons that aren't that obvious.

It is assumed that they have some sort of organization. Some researchers prefer to call them "the elites" or the "shadow government" or the "dark cabal." Many insiders report that there are at least three distinct elite groups.

Anyway, you get the point. There are all kinds of rumors about these people because they aren't talking. But that isn't to say that they don't communicate. Most researchers are quite sure that not only are they heavily into the use of ordinary graphical symbols, but also very interested in influencing popular culture. Music, dance, art, film, literature, journalism, etc.

The real evil ones are said to have a sort of twisted outlook on their work, perhaps dictated by their esoteric beliefs, that requires them to communicate their plans and intentions in covert ways, including the use of symbols.

I personally have grown a bit sick of hearing about them. After a while, it's like boxing with your own shadow. There is a lot of good research that says they exist. But until they are definitively exposed, we can do little more than guess who they are, how they think, or what they do.

Did a lot of thinking on the subject and came up with the idea that later I saw someone mentioned somewhere or even on the ATS. It goes like that Illuminati name itself and the whole accompanying symbolism isn't theirs. It might even be positive, of someone battling them or at least non-important and they just adopted it as a convenient smokescreen...

1 always felt thats how they communicate w/o phones and computers to do their bussiness. I mean what better way to secretly communicate but out in the open in secret.
