2012 Election: The ATS Republican Straw Poll

A small group of people in Ames, Iowa have an inordinate amount of influence over the early stages of the run for the Republican candidate for President of the United States. These few thousand people, apparently paying $30 per ticket for the ability to participate in the Ames Straw Poll, have had their choice, and the mainstream media is slobbering all over themselves.

Let's have our own straw poll, but this time one with some meaning or grit.

Our newest poll offers up all the current contenders (and one unconfirmed pretender) for the Republican nomination. When you take the poll, you'll be able to pick your candidate on page one. But on page two, there are some basic policy/stance issues where you'll have the ability to select why you like your candidate.

Results will be posted later in the week.

There were some issues with the second question with the ATS Straw Poll rolled out. It has been fixed.

I am getting an issue on the second question.It is telling me I must select "more than 0 boxes" but I have....So I can't go on to the next question,until the bug is worked out.

Anyone else? :/

I think we know who's gonna take this one. Of course, the "cult" of dedicated online hacker poll riggers will get the blame.

This keeps happening to me after I select Ron Paul....

When it asks me to post the "most enlightening aspects of my candidates campaign" or whatever, it keeps saying "there was an error", and it says that whether I select multiple options or just one.



It's a conspiracy, the people voting for Ron Paul aren't allowed to vote! It's rigged!
