BENGHAZI, Libya — The retired accounting professor who runs the city council of the Libyan rebel capital wants you to know: “There is good news in Benghazi!” Just ignore the smell.

“You remember the advertisement?” he said. “ ‘You can check in, but you can’t check out.’ That is us.”

Life in Benghazi gets slightly better every day: Police officers dressed as admirals at least pretend to direct traffic, an exhibit of once-forbidden art has opened in the new Gaddafi Crimes Museum, and the schools are scheduled to start again in September.

“The city feels safe. Things work,” said Abed Dada of the International Committee of the Red Cross, who has spent the past few weeks in Benghazi.

This is the hardened and worst type of propaganda so apparently Benghazi and East Libya are doing just fine? really? and apparently food prices are going down in east Libya? somehow i find that hard to swallow,

and they opened what now?

To bad there isn't a Obama,Clinton Bush Crimes Museum, so apparently as this article claims life is returning to normal even out realizing the unemployment rate in Libya will still remain high, because that is a global problem.

Does washingtonpost have sense of real journalism left in them, because after i read this article they don't they have done this same propaganda in iraq and bosnia by claiming things are returning to normal.
