OK, so it's a funny leading title.
But I'm ready for the Viagra jokes and ad hominem attacks.
How do you get your karma up? You know, that k rating beneath your avatar.
I may never get my karma up, and for me that's ok.
But I thought I'd ask.

I think its some way the site is programmed so if you star people that star you it makes your karma go up...I don't know for sure, but seems like it's prob about how it is based

I just tried some that and even went back to some other posts, but to no avail.

It must be something else.

I think the karma score is based on your stars to posts ratio. The higher that ratio, the higher your Karma score.

If you post good stuff that gets lots of stars, your karma will go up. If you post loads of meaningless junk just to say something, even when you have nothing important to add and nobody stars your posts, your karma will go down.

Only post when you have something to add to the discussion and avoid meaningless posts and your karma should increase.

ETA: If that doesn't work, try Viagra.

edit on 8/8/11 by FortAnthem because: Just had to say it.

Oh Oh oh, I'm happy to report that my karma raised from 23 to 24

I think it's because I got an applause from a Mod.
Thank you.

There is one member here over 100-K but I do not remember his name.

You do not have to be here long to have a high K actually. You could have just 50 posts and if you have like 500 stars or something you could be well over 100.
