Odori-Don - Dancing Squid Sashimi - Anyone ever try it?

it's a dead squid(or supposedly dead anyway, supposedly the brain has been removed) that dances when soy sauce is poured on it (neurons, i think? someone else may have a better explanation than me...)

Surely it is more expensive than it is worth, were it not for the freak factor.

There are some who claim that the brain hasn't really been removed and therefore it is actually very cruel. I don't know anything about the anatomy of a squid, so I can't say one way or another, but I DO know that, as much as I like sushi.... I think I may have to draw the line and having it get up and dance on my plate.

ewww(!!!) but very interesting nonetheless.

So, is it really dead, ya think?
