Most people believe there is more going on here then meets the eye, but whenever there is an 'exercise' of this nature beforehand, it is a clear indicator of knowledge, perhaps even involvement.

Estonia sinks - nato hold a search and rescue exercise in the area, which starts the day before

9/11 - fighter jets patrolling the eastern seaboard sent to the other side of the country and special maintenance in wtc a few days before.

7/7 london attacks - on the very same day london emergency services hold a anti-terrorism exercise to deal with a disaster

there are more but you get the point

And has anyone thought about the wider implications of european anti-terror legislation ? Cameron has already stated this will be spoken about at the national security conference in the UK, but the UK has already had these sort of events (not to this scale but think about Cumbria shootings or Hungerford massacre)

That was one of the most poetic, emotional and articulate things I've read in a long time. This, from her blog, sums it up:

"Those who resort to violence have run out of arguments."

In shock or not, she has a very level head about her. I'm hoping that the way she has handled this so far sums up Norwegians as a whole. They need a lot of positive strength and support right now and my prayers are going out to them. Scandavian countries have always been the most peaceful in the world, and I hope and pray that it stays that way. I think it's Iceland that doesn't even have a defense budget.

Very good observation. Brings up a big point about geo-political strategy. So, from what I learned on this guy. check the last line in article.

On a Facebook account that Norwegian media outlets have attributed to Breivik, he describes himself as having Christian, conservative views. He says he enjoys hunting, the games World of Warcraft and Modern Warfare 2, and lives in Oslo. He also lists political analysis and stock analysis as interests.

Is this not the average cyber-conspiracy theorists traits? Now, for anyone to see how well planned and coordinated the attacks were knows. Its was a set-up for some kinda of strategic sociological importance? Now as the situation develops, we can observe the next move in the chess board of politics. Why children though? Cruelty is all that was.

Nothing brings out peoples irrationality more then attacks on children (young people) especially in todays society, which venerates youth and disregards the old. If you want to bring about social-political change quickly and emphasise the scale of destruction - target youth.

Looking at it from his ideological and political stand point - it was the perfect target. Maximise fear and social impact whilst ensuring he was in a position to cause maximum damage - and for a right wing separatist/ extremist trying to attack the government (left) what better way than to attack the future of the party.

Socialist doesn't deserve to live. They love to interrupt in other lives, telling you how to live. They have taken many liberties from people. Hell, norwegian children are no more under the care of parents. Read some stories, about parents whom kids were taken by social service workers., because they were "sad" in school. Parents even kidnap their kids from those "social facilities" and escape from norway.

Regardless about what political slant he comes from, the man was a Christian who executed approximately 84 Christians at a Christian Youth Camp.

What that tells me is that he took a psychological breakdown.

I can assure you many of these young people enrolled this party, because they were strictly profit minded, no matter the cost. They left their ideals only to ingratiate party, because that's how it works.
