Not sure but at the bottom it does say "Cal Maneuver" so maybe they are calibrating the cameras?

I believe now that it was just a calibration maneuver by the satellite, just the first time I've seen it do that and with the irradiance charts and dark looking so weird like an earthquake happening or something made me think there might have been a flare. Although, a flare could be why they need to reposition, hmmm.

Yesterday I looked directly at the sun for the first time in years. I wanted to see if it looked the same as when I was a child. I saw these sunspots. They were not there when I was a child. Do not look directly at the sun. I can do it because I just don't care.

Your cropping is due to the camera calibration, check the times for your opening video and this.
