In times of disaster, who do you think will help you out?
The government?Fema? or some church organization?
I know the answer,churches!
My former community was devastated by a flash flood
in 2008.Peoples' homes were saved by volunteers from
various churches, including my old house. The only "help"
from Fema was a loan application to fix my house.
A group of young mormon men cleared debris from around
my house. One of them crawled under my house to cut the
water vapor barrier. That prevented the water from warping
my floorboards and saved my house.
Church peoples' tithes and offerings paid for the cleaning
supplies donated to flood victims. The water was contaminated
and they were handing out bottles of drinking water as well.
