Jesus is in the Wheat!!!

As I recall, many priests and higher ups have said she could receive communion with just the wine. It's the girl's mother who is so upset by this and insisted that the original priest use a rice wafer. She assumed to change Catholic tradition herself and that's part of the problem, to hear it told. This goes along with the previous post about both the bread and the wine taking on the divinity of Christ, not just one the flesh and the other the blood. If her mother had just stayed out of it, allowed her to take communion AS OFFERED with just wine, there'd not even be a story about this. The Church is being quite accomodating to people with wheat allergies (and alcoholics on the other end, by allowing communion with just the bread).
