On July 15th, 2011 President Obama said this:

Actually…he’ll be turning 50 in three weeks. His birthday is August 4, two days after the debt ceiling deadline. Senior moment?

He messed up Malia’s birthday, too, calling her 13 when she was at the time 12 and still days away from becoming a teenager.

an article of 3 sentences? first two separated by half a page? seems a majority of the article was redacted/removed. was the president speaking of an event two weeks in the future when he said his birthday was in a week? as in one week after the event?

i find it suspicious that there is no context at all for either statement.

didnt he say in his book he did coc aine and pot? maybe he does have a little residual memory loss from his youth lol....everyone probably forgets their bday at some point, wouldnt blame the drugs.

I tend to forget my birthday on purpose just to make myself think I'm becoming younger, but thanks to facebook all my friends/family remind me that I'm becoming older.

Well, as for his daughter's birthday, it's actually pretty common to start calling people the next age when they're days away from their birthday...

Most of the people that I know do that....

strange, this reminds me of his visit to england, and upon signing a book in a church he dated 2008 when it is 2011.

I turned mine off

not cause I want to get younger
but because to me it means more if well wishes come on random days
I don't think people who need birthdays as an excuse have the best intentions - and if they do, they're lost among all the other generic sentiments

I'd rather you say happy day to me, whenever you wish me to have one

Context:

Too hard to keep track of all the lies I guess. This is what happens when you make up everything about your life - too hard to remember all of the lies you told.

OMG! Obama is Bush with a good tan! The only difference is that Bush would've been picked on for a mistake like this, where as Obama is given a pass because he:

1) was referring to another event a week before his birthday before, but never actually spoke.
2) is getting older, even though Bush was quite a bit older but never got a pass.
3) forgot his birth date on purpose to feel younger.

Waiting for a book on Obama-isms.

Perhaps some cartoons relating his intelligence to a monkey.
