Success for Pastafarian!!!

Right, so this guy has won his appeal to wear a pasta strainer on his head, in his driving license picture, on the grounds of it being religious freedom.

You see, Niko Alm is a pastafarian. They hold to the belief that a Flying Spaghetti Monster created this world, but but, owing to the monster being inebriated at the time of creation, it has a flawed design.

The spaghetti church was founded in 2005 in opposition to pressure on the Kansas school board in the United States to teach the theory of intelligent design in biology class as an alternative to evolution, and since then it has engaged in a light-hearted campaign against religion.

Wow, i have now seen it all.

I find it a bit concerning however, that religion can be used as an exscuse to basically get away with alot, as this case has proven.

Just because some seem to have freedom of religion, it seems that some will use it as a convenient scapegoat, for all types of situations.
