History is made in the Bronx!!!!!!!!

In the bottom of the 3rd inning with the Yankees down 1-0 Derek Jeter rips a 3-2 slider over the left field wall for his 3000th hit. This could not have been written any better in this mans legendary career. He becomes the 28th member of the 3000th hit club and only the second person to get the magical hit with a home run, wade boggs being the other. The fans in the Bronx were going crazy and the atmospher looked so electric. I am so glad I got to see it on tv. The yankees have been my favorite team for as long as I can remember. I grew up 15 miles away from the stadium and saw so many games there. Congratulations # 2 you have most certainly punched your ticket to join the other legends of yankee lore in Cooperstown.

ahh so after months of hating the man and saying what a bum he is, even as recently as this week Yankee fans love him again....typical

Actually I have loved him his whole career. Yes it is true that lots of the fan have bashed. I am not one.
