It wasn't fireworks that caused it.

It was used as an explanation to an event they had no reason for.

No, plenty of flocking birds this time of year, esp blackbirds.

But they don't swarm as they do in the fall/winter do they? I am from Louisiana and I recall them always being around but not in the heavy roosting numbers like the winter. That is when they roost so heavily that officials have to scatter them and treat an area from all the poo.
Man, I miss Albert's Pike, had a many a good times there>

so fourth of July is over and no reports of bird deaths. They went crazy with the fireworks here. ON new years eve there was only one of two professional shows. I knew it wasn't fireworks!
