Click on Utah's link. There is a map that shows where a possible split of the continent could happen and it is not far, if not right in the area where the lake is. Just wondering if the two were connected somehow??

no it has caused major extinctions in the past ever heard of red tide google it very scary stuff in deed it can build up in the oceans when the oxegen levels drop due to co2 levels riseing funny there was something on national geographic the other night

not what the national geographic channel was saying the other night it has been responsible for major extinctions in the past but also it is possible that it may just have some porpose in medicine rather than using ice to induce a coma they believe it is now possible to use this gas in a diluted format, they have been able to induce a coma in mice and cool the body down to 15 degrees and successfully revive said mouse 6 hour's later with no side affects
