Should the U.S. take out Muqtada al-Sadr Iraq?

Should the U.S. forces do whatever it takes to take out radical cleric Muqtada al-Sadr in Iraq? What would the consequences be if the U.S. went into this Muslim Holy Temple with force? I think he is a cancer that needs to be stopped? WHat are the possibilities that Iraq police could do it?
