Being in my late forties, and being the total technophobe that I am. Even I could tell within a millisecond of seeing that photo that they were somewhat above the tarmac of the road........

Do you realize how great that makes me feel to recognize such bad workmanship? I could have sketched them into that photo with a pencil and made it more convincing than that.........

The explanation was almost as curious as the picture itself: as other photos showed, the three men did visit the road in question, but an unnamed photographer decided his original pictures were not suitably impressive and decided to stitch two together.

I've just got to see those original pictures now!

What is really funny is that the images that are mocking the original fake actually have shadows cast in them....the Chinese image didn't even go that far. I agree....WORST fake ever!

This is so funny but I bet one person is not laughing about it. That "unnamed photographer" in now either an " unnamed prisoner" or in an "unmarked grave" some where. Those people do not put up up crap like that. His decision about the pictures most likely ended is job and maybe even his life.
