Ole Evol Eric is here in Florida... Flager county. Currently wild fires have caused a beautiful "blood moon"
Anyone got a good camera? Get us a pic? My iphone camera sucks, or I would get ya a goid picture

I'm not in Florida, but I know what you mean about red moons and red suns. The summer of our freaky thunderstorms in northern California that lit thousands of fires in the mountains caused the sun to be so dim you could barely see it and the sky was choked with smoke for months. Perfectly formed leaves burnt to ash floated down on us from fires that were tens of miles away.

I hope the sunshine state gets her relief soon. I think Callie got the south's rainfall this year...we are at 195% average rainfall and more than 200% snowpack. Good for us...but bad for you. Let's hope it equals out soon.

Update on the Moon:

Just went outside to check and I could see a red haze but no Moon.

Dang clouds need to move out the way
.

Its more orange now than bright crimson red
