Okay... I think the linebreaks shouldn't be counted in this thing... only because even in poetry there aren't full stops without a period.

So I have a feeling that the lines can be combined... in fact, I have a feeling that the last clue given by Sixth Schmidt might be added to this.

So I've put together the lines here and here's what I got:

fast are him
ten off onto thou hour [subtract 10 from a date of a post?]
fast for hope roaring anew
age quick as the dour era [dour means harsh or forbidding... ?]
fear upon high and seated tests (of war and 12 stories)

The grammar in "fast are him" bothers me too... perhaps there's a greater meaning to this?

I was wondering about this myself. I am not sure as well, I was thinking that maybe the words are not in the right order, but I have been trying to rearrange them, but nothing that I really can find. Possible HIM is actually plural or it is an initial for something plural. But, right now pretty stumped.

I am popping out of my hole to give you my latest update..... I think that some how that this will involve the post numbers. There must be a reason for the riddle repeated 12 times, but, that will take a bit more work.

I have put the post numbers in numerical order and subtracted each one down.

973
1368 - 973 = 395
1791 - 1368 = 423
2600 - 1791 = 809
2676 - 2600 = 76
2916 - 2676 = 240
7769 - 2916 = 4853
8817 7769 = 1048
8844 - 8817 = 27

I tried the post numbers that came out, but nothing. I think it has to be something with the post numbers.

I noticed that the lenght of the combined thread numbers is 64 (the third power of four).
Is this just a coincidence (3 of 4 rings have been found, the power of four)? Looks like the thread numbers have been chosen by their number of digits.

Also 12=3*4 (12 messages in thread 8844(= 12*737 ?)).

I did a boolean search for power and four. And the first post I found was this post by SimonGray. Look at the bottom of the post. But this might be already an old clue from the previous phases of the hunt.
