I have seen over payments a lot via the DOE and also thru the GI Bill. A friend of mine went thru two years of school via the GI Bill and in his last year they said "oh we over payed you" and then docked his finally years money and wanted him to repay the rest. It was a mess!! Those who aren't taking advantage of the system shouldn't suffer because of human error, esp error they know nothing about until it's too late...That is when it sucks!

This one time I payed my water utility bill with a check, and some how I accidentally wrote the check for $20 more than I should have. The water company actually noticed the error and sent me a check for $20 a few days later.

I am so glad the water company had the decency to send me back MY money instead of keeping it and saying something stupid like "it was your fault why should we have to pay for it?".

So its ok for the government to make as many mistakes as it wants to allow for borrowing, but when people actually benefit once in a great while, then the government cries foul?

Its like winning big at the casino and then being harrassed for cheating. The illuminati mafia never loses even with a gun pointed at their head. They say "go ahead and shoot" to intimidate, but some people do actually pull the trigger and live with the consequences.

I guess some of those reciepiants better take back those Gucci purses that they bought. Can you get a refund from a stripper these days? Just wondering. O, yall didnt know thats what happens when you just blindly give 2 grand to anyone?

I will have to admit though, FEMA is barking up the wrong tree if they want their money back now. Who makes this crap up? There must be thousands of crazy monkeys pushing the buttons backstage at the main FEMA office.
