The sun is very active and is going thru a storm of sorts. Can anyone get more info on this?

I'm guessing those green and yellow dots in obs.astro.ucla.edu...
are solar storms or sun spots?

It is supposed to get even more active and stay that way for some time. We better get used to it. It's all normal though, the Sun is going through one of it's cycles. Still cool to see though!
