In a place of high alert is this really a surprise??? The ice cream guy obviously has no faith in Bush in controlling the terror attacks. Why else would he carry a gun???
Michael Moore is an idiot, guns do not make anyone kill another person and this ice cream man could have had in his possesion throwing knives, a crossbow, or some other weapons on him and they could be used for scaring or even killing someone just the same as a gun. Even if guns were banned there is always the black market. China and Russia sell weapons in the black market and quite some of those weapons make it to American streets, so even if all forms of weapons were banned, criminals would get their hands on black market weapons...which is the way they get them anyways...
BTW, I dont think this has "anything" to do with terrorism. The guy could have been a whacko or he could have had that weapon in case he was assaulted, but no matter what the reason, he shouldn't have had that weapon on him, more so because he didn't have a permit for it.
