I was surfing the interwebs watching George Carlin videos and came across a link to one of David Lettermen's late night Monologues and after viewing it thought it would be interesting to get members take on it. It's from way back in 2008. Skip to about 1:40 or so.

Gday Slayer.
I find that very interesting.
It looks like Mccain got his way. I wonder who forced Obama to change his mind.
And what did they do to him to make him change his mind.
Maybe A little Blackmail for a birth certificate.

Obama changes his opinion all the time in fact getting him to keep one position seems a lot harder. His opinion changes depending on which way the wind blows.

Good find, Slayer! How prophetic! So much for a trial for Osama Bin Laden? The only trial he is going to get is one presided over by King Neptune and some sea urchins. Perhaps, he jotted down a few mental notes about how to handle the situation if it arose from his opponent in the campaign? "Dead men tell no tales." That's the Chicago Way!

One of the great things about this site, is the ability some members possess, to pull relevance about a wide range of topics up by memory alone. Almost like pulling a rabbit out of their hat. I think this a great example of that Slayer.

Loose lips sink ships.

Obama had very little choice. Imagine the 3 ring circus if Osama had been taking to trial.

Really good find there Slayer. I had to listen to it a couple of times but I think I get it now.

Obama wants to bring him to trial and Mcain wants to shoot him. This was election campaign posturing at the time wasn't it? I wonder what happened?

Obama Wants Nuremberg Trial for bin Laden - Barack Obama would use the post-war Nazi war crime trials at Nuremberg as a model for bringing Osama bin Laden to justice, to avoid making him into a martyr, the Boston Globe reports.

McCain says he wants to shoot Osama - "I will follow Osama Bin Laden to the gates of hell and I will shoot him with your products," McCain said. McCain told reporters afterward he was joking when he made the comment at Thompson Center Arms in Rochester. "I certainly didn't mean I would actually shoot him. I am certainly angry at him, but I was only speaking in a way that was trying to emphasize my point," McCain said. "I would not shoot him myself."

Man, this is too funny. Thanks for the heads up!

I don't think anyone "forced him" to change his mind.

He is just a flip flopping politician like all the others.

Too many people put far too much faith in their new god Obama. He is no different than the rest.
