Did they care about the people of America when they helped the Banks out. They weren't worried about the deficit then were they.

It is strange how politicians are now upset over the deficit, especially the conservatives.

....The nation's bloated deficit presents a threat to the American project greater than any it has ever seen before, Indiana Gov. Mitch Daniels said tonight at the annual Conservative Political Action Conference. And it is up to conservatives to unite the country in a battle against that menace, he said...(cbs news)


President Obama is joining the ranks of no nothing Republicans in worrying about the deficit. But as you should know, Obama has done a good job running Bush's Third Term in office.

As you might recall, nobody was talking much about the deficit or the debt when the politicians were giving away America's future to the banksters.

Now the politicians worry about it because somebody has to pay for the collapse of the economy caused by the same banksters the American taxpayers bailed out.

That means the poor, the near poor, and the working class, which accounts for nearly all of America, will pay for the looting of the US.

But it is very easy to balance the budget. We simply need to cut war (so called "defense") spending to levels of that found in every other nation around the world. We also need to make sure the rich pay their fair share for a functioning, humane society.

Unfortunately this simple solution will never get any press in the managed, corporate media here in the US.

Sad truth is the Politicians benefit. They are paid off to do so. Any one of them with a conscience would not allow it to happen, but a new Audi included with other expensive cars every year and Yacht is worth if for them.
