WTF is wrong with me I read all 48 pages! Some very informative posts. I must say that I do hope the OP is right and everything is fine and dandy, however I'm not convinced as it goes against all my experience and research.

I also have say as an objective observer that no one has presented and evidence that couldn't be debunk by the other bias and such is the nature of these things. Only time will tell!

Well , I feel Ron Paul Speaks to me Directly about my Concerns for Personal Liberty as an American Citizen , and by Personal Liberty I mean the State of being Free within a Society from Oppressive Restrictions Imposed by Authority on one’s Behaviour or Political Views . America was Founded on those Princples , and in No Way would I Except the Alternative to them that would be Defined as Tyranny . What say You ?

What research ?

All the economic research that has been done has shown that Paul is wrong when it comes to the US economy and what needs to be done. killing off govt agencies and gutting spending is he last thing we need right now.

Ok, so you think the Fed is a good thing? You tell me with detail how the Fed helps us. NOT INTEREST RATE CORRECTIONS EITHER> Tell me how printing money is not devaluing our currency. Do you work for the Fed?

If the Fed is so wonderful and helpful, then why is the system being torn down. Woodrow the backstabber Willson knew what he did.

1. Who runs this country? Congress and the President
2. Who runs Congress and the President. Lobbyist and special interest groups.
3. What do Lobbyist and special interest groups care about? Profits
4. Who pays for all this? the middle class.

If lobbyist and special interest groups control congress and congress in turn controls this country why wouldn't they want more government control. More gov't control means they control there own market. Hence why BOTH democrats and republicans never shrink the gov't. Less gov't less control means less control for the Lobbyist and special interest groups.

Therefore, I think Ron Paul is what this country needs right now. We need someone who will diminish the control from our gov't at the national level who is solely serving the special interest groups anyways.

Once we shrink the gov't , we (middleclass) get back the control , we close the grey area between Washington and special interest groups. Then once those loop holes are closed and congress truly works for the middle class then we can start to add gov't control as needed. Right now its out of control and corrupted so how can you have any faith on any gov't entity.

Can someone please tell why on earth Ron Paul wants to get rid of the departments of Education and Energy?

What exactly has the Dept of Education done since it's inception?? Look at the trend of our student scores since it's 1979 founding. You tell me what a great job it's done? I would suggest we were better off before we had a National Dept of Education.

The Department of Energy is a more mixed bag. It has overseen both our civilian and military nuclear sites and weapons. However, since the 1973 Oil Embargo, it has failed to ween us off the teet of oil from the Middle East. You would think given 39 years they would have made some headway.

Well for a start it makes sure that Oregon is teaching the same kind of things as Missouri, and vice versa. Given some of the scientifically illiterate crap that some of the state boards of education are churning out right now, I'd say that it's desperately needed.

Um the reason we get such crap turned out is exactly why the Dept. of Education needs to be curbed.

Its all one big factory hammering children over and over CONFORM CONFORM CONFORM.

No it doesn't. They don't oversee curricula. You must be a graduate of our Education system since the Department of Education was formed. No Child Left Behind would work if the Government put real teeth and dollars into it. As it stands, it's mainly a dog and pony show. Try talking to your local school about their most recent scores.....it's funny if it weren't such a serious matter.

U.S. Schools just don't match up internationally when to comes to Grade, Middle and High Schools. There are many reasons for this....all of which could be rectified.

We have great Universities and Colleges then populate them with students who aren't ready for college classes. What a great idea. If we didn't have so many foreign students coming here, the results would be shocking.

So much hatred for Ron Paul. The establishment hates him because if they let him, he'd probably make a positive difference in this world. The lefties hate him because he comes across as right wing in some of his ideas like freedom and liberty - "freedom" is a dirty word to organised socialists of most flavors. The right hate him because he comes across as almost commie in some of his ideas and because Ron Paul's PR people put the word "love" in "Revolution".

So is he left or is he right? He's neither.

Unlike the "ideallogically pure" Ron Paul is correct in his presumption that 90% of politics is BS for show-ponies and the power-hungry. With an establishment like that which sociopath do you side with? Who's got the right idea? Ron Paul has done the right thing and he chooses what works and discards what doesn't - regardless of who's hidden agenda it may hurt.

Ron pauls idea of freedom would lead to a collapse of the country. Maybe thats why you guys like him so much. Most people here want to see the world collapse for some sick reason.

Freedom = Collapse of America? Sure, maybe the collapse of FASCIST America.

One can never have too much freedom.

haters gonna hate.

P.S. looking at the title, "he is always wrong", REALLY?

What was he wrong about? Point it out, one by one.

Nevermind, I just read the OP, completely ridiculous that anybody with a critically thinking mind think that any of the governments listed is actually necessary for a prosperous America. Same type of insane thinking that we must keep increasing taxes to keep up with over-spending and deficits or the government cannot help the people.

Read the Constitution.

The world is collapsing by design, by those in government, by those who sit in corporate offices. Ron Paul was one of the few who tried to inform the public of this, but unfortunately they have been brainwashed to think "the elite" know better.

^^^^

I think the person you're trying to convince is one of those that "have brainwashed to think 'the elite' know better".

Mitt Romney's ideas would have collapsed the country if he had been elected. Ditto Rick Santorum, and if Ross Perot was elected, he would have Definitely collapsed the country.

See, it's easy to pick someone who didn't become president and claim their ideas "would" collapse the country with no proof or evidence needed.

So let's stick to reality, Obama was elected (arguably) and his actions are causing a near civil war, and he hasn't even been sworn in yet, haha. See it's much easier sticking with facts as opposed to hyperbole.
